The library is open from 7:45 a.m. to 3:20 p.m. every school day. Books from the general collection are circulated for two weeks and may be renewed.
Reference materials may be checked out after 3:05 p.m. for overnight use and must be returned before 8:00 a.m. the next morning. Students will be charged the replacement value of books and materials which are lost or damaged.
Students may order Scholastic Book Club books through the library if they want additional paperback resources for leisure reading. The first due date is Wednesday, September 25. Fliers are in the library and orders are returned there.
Online ordering is also available and the school code can be found on my Wiki page. Several classroom teachers provide access to Scholastic as well.
This year we have a subscription to World Book Web. It can be accessed by students from school and home. The link is on my Wiki page.
Our eBook collection is catching on at EMS!
Students may check out eBooks and read them on their iPods at school.
They can then log out and read them at home if they have a computer or eReader.
Students may reach the card catalog from the Student Resources page.
They should click on the Follett Shelf link and log in using their Destination passwords.
Students should report any difficulties to me in the library.....happy eReading!
