Thirteen El Dorado High School students were recognized as Kansas Honor Scholars during a ceremony on October 23.
The Kansas Honor Scholar Program is run by the University of Kansas as a way to honor high school seniors for ranking academically among the top ten percent of their graduating class. It was designed to promote academic excellence in secondary education, to reward high school seniors for their hard work and dedication, and to support our Kansas communities. The program has honored more than 140,000 students since it began in 1971.
