El Dorado High School staff members planned and hosted a summer leadership retreat for EHS students on July 11.
Students from each sport, fine arts program, and school club were invited to participate in the retreat. Out of the 40 students who received an invitation, 22 accepted the invitation and attended the event.
Students completed five activities and reflected on each activity. The reflection discussions centered around specific leadership qualities such as teamwork, communication, the importance of plan development, effective use of resources, and perseverance.
The three EHS administrators, Principal Lolling, Assistant Principal
Davis and District Athletic/Activities Director Vang also attended the
retreat so they could meet students and help guide the leadership
