Cody Wittenberg, senior at EHS, signed his letter of intent on Feb. 6 to play football at Southwestern. The former Wildcat quarterback will play safety for the Moundbuilders this fall.
Wittenberg says the biggest thing he will miss about high school football is playing with his boys, his friends. In January, he played in the Blue-Grey All-American football game down in Tampa, Florida. It was an experience he was happy to have been a part of.
In his two years as a varsity quarterback, Wittenberg threw for 1,136 yards and ran for 707 yards.
