KEY GOAL: STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT
KINDERGARTEN READINESS • Develop partnerships to provide universal access to preschool programs. • Coordinate preschool programming to provide for consistent, systemic support for school readiness.
SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, ARTS, AND MATH
• Provide content-rich programming in Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Math from introductory to advanced level courses. • Support a continuous process of reevaluating, assessing and securing resources to provide for equitable access to technology.
CAREER & POST-SECONDARY
• Provide comprehensive career education awareness and advisement support for all students that leads to development of Individual Plans of Study. • Increase access to Career & Technical Education offerings in areas of local occupational opportunities. • Increase student access to and ability to compete for post-secondary scholarships. • Develop aligned systems for meeting the structures of Relevance, Rigor, Relationships, Responsiveness, and Results.
SUPPORT GOAL: COMMUNICATION
PARENTS • Develop district protocols for routine and emergency communications with parents. • Increase the variety of engagement opportunities for parents of all students.COMMUNITY • Define and communicate all opportunities and requirements of volunteer involvement in schools. • Redefine and update district communications and public relations to improve marketing of successes.
