At Grandview Elementary classes are available for kindergarten through fifth grade students. This attendance center is located in the northeast part of El Dorado, KS (1300 Lawndale).

The mission of Grandview Elementary School is to prepare all students to be responsible and successful individuals in a competitive and changing world.

Grandview strives to support our district's goals of achievement, communication, safety and facilities. During the 2011-2012 school year we will be especially focusing on Student Achievement.

Student Achievement - Our biggest intervention that supports student achievement is the implementation of Multi-tiered Systems of Support (MTSS). Using the MTSS model we will administer screening assessments, review data and provide targeted instruction based on students' instructional needs. Targeted instruction will be structured in small group settings and focus on skills that are specific for each group.

USD 490 and Grandview Elementary are committed to working with students, parents, and the community to meet our goals. Together we hope to have a great year!
