USD 490's first priority is "To teach the intended curriculum to all students." To ensure that all students have an opportunity to learn, we are committed to maintaining a safe, orderly and productive classroom environment for all students.

EMS School Hours
The school day begins at 8:05 a.m. and ends at 3:05 p.m. Students have access to the building beginning at 7:15 a.m. and are expected to leave by 3:25 p.m. The times are adjusted when students are working directly with a teacher or activity supervisor.
